The ASCAP Foundation, established in 1975, is a publicly supported charitable organization which is tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is dedicated to supporting American music creators and encouraging their development through music education and talent development programs. The ASCAP Foundation is pleased to consider proposals from other 501(c)(3) organizations engaging in music education and talent development programs that are consistent with the mission and objectives of The ASCAP Foundation and which support music education programs for aspiring songwriters and composers. Our average grant is approximately $3,000.
Effective January 2008, The ASCAP Foundation established a formal reporting process for all grantees. This new reporting system will provide us with both qualitative and quantitative information on programs that we fund.
All 2008 Grantees
All 2008 ASCAP Foundation grant recipients must complete The ASCAP Foundation Program Report at the conclusion of their 2008 project but no later than October 1, 2008.
